There are many ways you can help Rebuilding Together.  Your contributions are key to our ability to help transform lives and keep our communities vibrant, strong, and beautiful.

We are all neighbors helping neighbors, right here in our local towns.  You don’t need to have any special skills and every contribution matters.

Here are some of the ways you can help us:  


Project Management: This committee engages in all aspects of selecting, evaluating, budgeting, planning, and carrying out projects. Committee members to outreach to locate potential project sites, evaluate projects for suitability, and develop work scopes. They then recruit home team leaders and provide training events and guidance for the project leaders. The Project Management Committee also inventories and manages the warehouse and secures all permits and rental items needed for projects. Members are needed for any roles in this dynamic hands-on committee.

Fund Development: Our major fundraisers, Trivia Night and the Beefsteak Dinner, are loads of fun and are the result of a lot of great work by volunteers. Help plan these events as well as organize other benefit nights, social media/online fundraising, or come up with other exciting ways to raise support that will benefit homeowners in need. Help attract new funding sources (i.e., sponsors, donors, grantors) and connect with current supporters. Commitment of at least one year and participation in one or more of our fundraising events.

Marketing & PR: Help us with outreach, media kits, press releases, social media, and graphic design, so we can spread the word about our mission, Rebuilding Day projects, fundraising events, and more.

We’re looking for sponsors to donate $10,000 – the cost of a Rebuilding Day house sponsorship.  Please visit our goal page or contact us at so we can work together to help you become part of our signature National Rebuilding Day event.


Rebuilding Together has limited capacity to accept donations of tools, construction supplies, and materials.  We are in particular need of painting supplies, gloves, small hand tools, and tarps. Please contact us at with your proposed donation.
